UB’s Phil Hellmuth Has An Unorthodox Style
Earlier this month, he UB.com’s Hellmuth took 15th in Event #8, a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em tournament that gathered 2,341 entrants. His extra cash of the series was a 50th place result in the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em Event, which drew 792 of the top tournament players on the planet UB Referral Code.
Hellmuth has also had a large extent of success on the World Poker Tour (WPT) this year, in April he took sixth place in the Bay 101 Shooting Star in San Jose. A month later, he came seventh at the $25,000 Five Star Classic at the Bellagio, hardly missing out on the televised final table. Those two scores accrued more than $270,000, making his lifetime earnings over $9,000,000. Hellmuth has also banked in the WSOP Main Event each of the past two years, taking 45th in 2008 ($154,400) and 436th in 2009 ($25,027).
His UB Bonus incidents remain questionable at times, but Hellmuth’s unconventional style has earned him great success to label him among the top No Limit Hold’em tournament players in the game still today.
